Our story began in 2020, in Tanzania, founded by Bertha Lwakatare. The name “Stark” originates from the German language and translates to “Strong” in English—a reflection of our commitment to strength, focus, and resilience. From humble beginnings, we’ve grown into a brand that creates tools to help you reach your personal best: the gear you’ll train in, the inspiration you’ll draw from, and the community where you’ll thrive.
Today, the Stark family includes a growing community of customers, athletes, and followers across Tanzania and beyond. With every step, we aim to empower individuals to push their limits and achieve greatness—together, as one strong team.
